Multiple AI4Science Postdoc Openings at KAUST (new)

The IVUL group (ivul.kaust.edu.sa) at KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) is looking for top postdoctoral researchers with expertise in deep learning for direct applications to basic sciences (e.g. chemistry, chemical engineering, energy, and material science). The researchers for this opening will work at KAUST to investigate and develop principled deep learning methods for high-impact and futuristic applications of AI to science. The work will focus on building foundation models (e.g. molecular representation learning), as well as, tackling downstream scientific tasks (e.g. molecule property prediction and discovery). One application area seeks to build AI agents to enable "The Lab of the Future", an automated robotic chemical reaction platform that requires no human intervention and that self-calibrates to optimize reactions and discover new reactions/materials (e.g. new reactions for efficient energy generation and new materials for better CO2 capture). These applications have the potential of revolutionizing various science domains and directly impacting serious challenges facing the world we live in (e.g. climate change). The scope of the advertised position includes:

Applicants must have:

Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis until the positions are filled. Anyone interested in this position should send a full CV with a complete list of publications and projects to Prof. Bernard Ghanem (bernard [DOT] ghanem [AT] kaust [DOT] edu [DOT] sa).

Multiple General Postdoc Openings at KAUST

The IVUL group (ivul.kaust.edu.sa) at KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) is looking for top postdoctoral researchers with expertise in computer vision and/or machine/deep learning.
